"A pretty exciting level but there's something amiss! "
I have been a fan of the Jumanji movie series ever since watching the first film which was based on a scary board game, giving out a truly magical experience filled with loads of adventure. It is still a favourite classic family movie anytime, for many! The second film "Welcome To The Jungle" was again a virtual non stop ride full of humour and entertainment although it was based on a cursed video game. This is the third film of the series and the story takes off from the events of the previous film.
The plot begins with the four friends Spencer, Fridge, Martha and Bethany deciding to meet up again. Spencer, who gets sceptical about the meeting becomes enticed by the broken video game and somehow restarts it! His worried friends come to his house and decide to find him by joining the game. In the melee, Spencer's grandpa & his friend too get sucked into it. What follows is a rollercoaster ride of fun and excitement!
The film keeps you on the edge of your seat almost through the entire duration. There are a lot of hilarious jokes and funny scenes paired with a good dose of adventure and entertainment. The most thrilling scene is the one in which the characters try to cross a maze of rope bridges, where one wrong step can land them in the jaws of ferocious monkeys ready to devour them!
The film fairly succeeds in recreating the magic from the previous film. However you feel something amiss as the film progresses. The comedy and thrilling aspects don't really give out the expected impact to the viewer along with the plot which could have been even more interesting!
The cast members give a wonderful performance. Dwayne Johnson shines with his 'smoldering intensity', Kevin Hart and Jack Black tickle your funny bone, Karen Gillan bowls you over with her hot moves. Also we get to see Rory McCann ('The Hound' from GOT) in a 'brutal' role.
All in all, this film has its fair share of fun & entertainment, although one would have expected something more out of it. It's a pretty exciting level but leaves you a little disappointed at the end!

The four friends (Spencer, Fridge, Bethany and Martha) get sucked into the game once again along with Alex, Spencer's grandfather Eddie and his friend Milo Coming to the performances, Jack Black and Kebin Hart steal the show this time, they make the audience laugh out loud in every scene with their performance. Dwayne Johnson and Karen Gillian's chemistry is a treat to watch and both are very effective in the action scenes. Awkwafina is new to the cast and has done a good job. Nick Jonas appears late but leaves a mark. Rhys Darby, Rory McCann and the others get little scope but do a fine job. Final verdict- A perfect outing with your family which Will leave you in laughs. Don't miss it I will again watch this movie someday. I give 10 stars to this movie.

Jumanji is a same old routine visual fantasy. Every Hollywood production house following same sequel trend with stupid stories only visuals are good in this film. Actors did their level best but humour didnt work for most of the part. Graphics can't hold a movie like this so this film is completely for kids.

The Next Level was a blend of comedy, action, drama and just a hint of pulling on heartstrings. I really enjoyed this movie and it built upon the first movie, but stayed the same principal that had a different perception of story telling. The cast was superb and very unique, filled with great humour and a simple yet effective movie.

The movie is fine for family movie night or seeing with a group. The plot is a bit confusing if you haven’t seen the first movie, but you are still able to enjoy the movie. There is one scene in particular where the characters’ dialogue might be considered inappropriate, but it was over within a few minutes.Kevin Hart got to play a developed character and hearing DeVito's voice from The Rock was a gas.

This movie is a waste of the Jumanji name. The story is non-existent, the plot is only there in between raunchy humor. Nothing heroic about flat characters. Potty humor- lots of it, the same cliches too. Language, sex, drinking, using your body to get what you want, objectification. You will not find anything classy, nostalgic, or worth paying money to view.

I was pleasantly surprised with this movie. I didn't want to get me hopes up even though it has an all-star cast of actors that I love, as we know, that doesn't automatically translate to a quality movie. However, the character switching twist in this movie was pulled off brilliantly, and I couldn't stop laughing. Keven Hart's impersonation of Danny Glover is side-splittingly hilarious. This is a simple fun family movie that knows what it is, and that made for an entertaining movie.

When you hear this word 'Jumanji' the nostalgia strikes right on your mind because your 90s childhood will be incomplete if you haven't watched it's first part. Jumanji Next Level is third in film franchise and people are flooding to theatres to relieve their childhood nostalgia. The question remains does it live up to that expectation and answer is averagely 'No'. The premise is pretty much similar to its second counter part which is a let down. There are scenes where you can giggle and laugh out which is organic to the proceedings of the story. The movie bit confuses the characters as it was deliberate by writers but it didn't work for me. The story here is again about to get the jewel and show it to sun in order to return to normalcy. The proceeding in the story has lot of hiccup and everything looks disjointed. Considering it is 3D movie hardly any scene is made in that manner. On a positive side, they have tried to add multiple scenes which goes from forest to desert to snow filled mountains which is good to watch it on big screen. The actors are decent in terms of acting. In short, it works for kids and for mere timepass without giving much credit to anything happening on screen. If you have enough time do watch it or else you can wait for it to come online

This addition in Jumanji franchise is truly next level as the movie takes the experience to the next level from what we saw in its trailers. They again reunite for an epic journey filled with a whole new world of adventure incidents and nerve wracking moments along the way. Best enjoyed in 3D IMAX format and it's even very appealing to eyes in normal 3D format with eye popping visuals throughout the movie. Dwayne Johnson along with other star cast members deliver the action with powered by Jumanji vibes. From first entry scene in the wild forests to last scene in the snowy mountains, the movie keeps you sit tight with many Jaw dropping stunt scenes. And last but not the least, get ready for the nextest level of Jumanji Soon!

Directed by Jake Kasden staring the 'The Rock', Jumanji The next Level is a comedy adventurous movie where the gang enters a game to rescue one of their own. The movie keeps you entertained throughout, though some parts of the movie may be boring if you have watched the earlier Jumanji. The game here is much more challenging and the comedy scenes add more fun filled experience in this one. A good watch with family and a bit nostalgic for Jumanji lovers.

Just a wonderful wonderful movie. This is my first movie review ever as I normally don’t waste my time with such things. However, it was such a great movie, I felt compelled to share the excitement. The acting is just great, the movie is hilarious and just good family light-hearted fun. Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart especially have a unique way of slipping into the character of older generations that will just have you on the floor belly aching with laughter. Awkwafina and Jack Black also do fantastic jobs slipping into varying characters with accents and demeanors that will have you smiling ear to ear amongst your laughter. Highly recommend this movie and unlike most sequels, Jumanji just keeps getting better and better! Can’t wait for the third!

Dyane Jhonson starer The Jumanji Next level is a fun filled experience. It is on similar lines of the earlier Jumanji movie. This has more stuff than the previous one, but it fails to beat the original one. The movie has good number of twists and the ending leaves you surprised which I am not going to reveal it here. It is has good comedy and you can watch it with family.

Murali posted a review for Jumanji: The Next Level in Movies
Movie based on a book about a board game - Welcome to the Jungle found a good premise: four teenagers of varying social positions would be forced to inhabit the bodies of avatars that looked suspiciously like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan. The stars then would also be forced to inhabit the teenagers. Dwayne Johnson would improbably play an insecure nerd, Kevin Hart a strapping athlete frustrated by his newly diminutive frame, Jack Black a popular queen bee type aghast to find herself as a middle-aged man, and Karen Gillan an awkward girl shocked by her newfound action-heroine coordination. It was a perfectly timed gambit. Welcome to the Jungle may have looked like a high-concept action-adventure, but it was really offering star-driven laughs.

When Spencer goes back to the fantastical world of Jumanji plus Martha,Fridge and Bethany re enter the game to bring him home. But the game is now broken and fighting back. Everything the friends know about Jumanji is about to change as they soon discover there's more obstacles and more danger to overcome. This Return of Jumanji is intended more for youngsters than nostalgic adults.

This movie is probably the most boring thing I've had to witness all year from bad dialogue to worst action sequences. I mean of course I wasn't expecting this to be a masterpiece but they could at least put in some effort and actually make the movie some what entertaining for the two hours its on.The "comedy" in jumanji: next level is unbearably awful not a single joke in it's two hour run time is funny, nobody in my fully seated cinema laughed once.I think the only thing that saved this movie from me giving it one star is how good the acting is and how much the actors enjoyed playing their roles, sadly this cant save the movie from being a complete cash grab.

When I saw this movie,I was pleasantly surprised! I don't quite think it beats the first movie (NOT referring to 1995 Jumanji) but this one lives up to it pretty well. I laughed a lot and was very impressed with the acting. I was especially impressed by the improv the Rock, Jack Black, Awkwafina, and Kevin Hart did for their characters in different bodies. That had me laughing the whole entire time! There were a surprising number of twists involving who was in the game and what character they were portraying. And something happened near the end that ALMOST had me sobbing which I won't spoil. There's some redundancy in this movie, but it didn't bother me at all. Lots of feel good moments and plenty of laughs.

Once again the story begins with the four friends - Spencer, Fridge, Bethany and Martha. I liked this story more than the previous stories. In this movie the director has enough intelligence. In this movie cinematography, acting performance, location, I like the base in all aspects. Both the action sequences by Dwayne Johnson and Karen Gillian have played well. The movie is complete entertainment. I love "JUMANJI-THE NEXT LEVEL". This movie is definitely a must watch with your family without wasting time. My rating 4/5.

Hilarious! I think there should be an actual video game based off of this! You could go in a party of four to eight and play the story line. Each level would give you a new character to play next time (alex appears in level one so you can use him in future levels. Etc.) I loved the thief character, she was hilarious!!

2017's Jumanji reboot surprised audiences with its twist on the classic tale actually working well and being funny. I expected the same formula in the 2nd installation, and I got a much worse version. The Rock and Kevin Hart play characters whom are inhabited by elderly folks, and they flat line it. It turns out that The Rock can only play himself. I genuinely cringed 2 or 3 times at some of his accents. I had just told a friend before I went that the nice thing about movies starring Dwayne Johnson is that they are never awful. Never amazing, but never awful.

This movie was well directed. The storyline was pretty much the same from the previous jumanji, with the exception of having Danny DeVito and Danny Glover being a very welcome party of the storyline. Both actors did a splendid job of making the movie even more funny to watch, I had a great time seeing them on screen. I also loved having Awkwafina as a part of this movie, and she needs to be in every other one from now on coz she was such a great addition.Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillian, Nick Jonas all did a great job as well.

"Jumanji: The Next Level" really takes us to the next level. While going through a break, Spencer, decides it's time for another adventure, but does so without backup. Now we travel from a low desert to a high mountain in the hopes of saving Jumanji and calling out its name.Overall, I laughed hard throughout the film, and though things seemed expected at times, it was still a great adventure. Listening to Dwayne play Danny DeVito was the best.

This movie is redundant. Very boring throughout especially the start when they go into jumanji, boring Kevin and Dwayne, jack black and everyone else the movie was useless! Might have enjoyed it if we saw more of Karen's slim body. The action was very few and far between, the movie was mainly all talk. Money seemed to be mostly spent on CGI animals, etc.

It is entertaining and funny throughout the movie. The movie can hardly go wrong with such strong casts such as Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart and Jack Black, etc. Their acting did not disappoint and their lines were good and well thought of. It has a predictable storyline which is not a surprise for this kind of movies so try not to think too hard and enjoy the movie.
